Anyone seen that oil centrifuge system? Even without extending the oil

Found the thing >>> Bypass Oil Filters and Filtration Systems for Engine Oil Cleaning | Dieselcraft
Centrifuges are used in some larger Marine application's.

But the brakes have noting to do with running. Now stopping is a different story.

Today I got the lawn mowed and had some extra time and the tank was down
to the 50 miles to empty. So… I thought what the heck and I pulled the tank.
I did not find any thing that was an Oh no moment. The sender was crusty like
they can get. But the tank looked clean. I pulled about 7 gallons out with my
little transfer pump by way of the suction line in the tank. After I got air and
went on a search and destroy mission looking for my stupid tank ring tool. I
did find it right where I thought it should of been after the second look in that
spot in the truck junk storage box. Sitting under an alternator. I found it once I
started lifting things out of the box. Anyway on with the story. I got the tank opened
up and checked things out and found that the tank had not been harpooned.
Grabbed my trusty PVC cutters and gave it a little snip. I think I took 3"~4" off
the vent line. Cleaned myself up and then went to work on the sender. Rubbing
alcohol and some Q-tips and cleaned it all up. Then checked it with the DMM on tone
so I could hear if it skipped a spot as I was moving the float and it never did.
So tomorrow it goes back in the tank and the tank back under the truck. I think
at almost totally empty it will be less of a pain with fuel sloshing around.

Good opportunity to check the brake line at the little holding clips for corrosion, then tend to wear off the plating.

Also a good time to move the HFCM and use hoses between the tank and HFCM ....... just saying.

I sort of thought while I was under ther eI would check things over.
Don't forget being on the other side where they use less salt and
I avoid the salt city (Seattle) during snows I don't get as much salt
exposure and I also have the under side washed off as the snow starts
melting. The part about avoiding Seattle I really try to do it year round.

Going to try and get one under acceleration, but that's hard to do solo. Here is a clip of startup and some revs for you.

Sean, it's not just salt. The "tunnel" there stays humid more so then under the rest of the truck plus the wiping out of the protective coating. However, if your modeler had the black polymer coating your in better shape. I just can't remember when they added the extra coat.

Yes the fame has some sort of black coating on it. I think I'll be
holding off any outside work do to the fire at Mt. Rainier. You can
directly at the sun and all you see is this dimmed orange ball. Sort
of like a 100 Watt light bulb on a dimmer turned down to less than
50% or less of the power. We had ash on everything outside at my
place. Nasty stuff that you don't want to breath.

Sounds good! How is the sound in the cab when cruising? Any drone?
