Upgrades After Afghanistan?
Hey guys, I havent been on here in ages, but this is where I learned almost everything I know about a stroker so I wanna run my upgrade list past you guys and get some input. My truck is a '94 F250 extended cab long bed, 4X4, 5speed, dually conversion, 4" lift, dana 60 front axle. for engine/tranny mods so far I have a D66 turbo from beans, stage 2 sticks from rosewood, 5766 air filter, BB shimmed fuel, 2.5 DP to 5" stacks, south bend CON-O clutch, Edge Evo tuner, IPR from a DT66, AC delete, fan delete, and probably a few other things that Im forgetting. and heres the upgrade list: sledge hammer turbo from swamps, stage 3 sticks from rosewood, a chip (from who?), IDM mod from beans, and a new HPOP (what model and from who?) and after that probably a double disk SB clutch lol. and then, bring on the sled pulls!

I think you're going to need e-fuel to run that big of an injector. A bigger downpipe wouldn't hurt temps any but I guess that will be addressed w the turbo. If you're going to pay to have your IDM modded you should send it to swamps and get the real deal. There are several good HPOPs but I imagine duals would be your best bet. And pick a tuner they're all respectable. Call them and tell them your plans.

Efuel=electric fuel system as opposed to our factory mechanical fuel pump. I've heard that the mechanical pump can support up to tuned down stage IIs.
Swamps adjusts many parameters of the IDM and not just voltage.
DP tuner may not be the best deal but I can personally say that their customer service is great. I've also tried to contact several other tuners with bare or no response. DP however does not tune TS style chips.

I'd go with a 250/200 injector vs a 100. I'd look at some dual termy pumps or possible a Gen 3 setup. Studs, push rods and valve springs. Swamps in all honesty would probably be your best bet for tuning. They have sold and tuned a few of those chargers in the pulling world. Defiantly will need the clutch. Iirc the con fe is an organic clutch. Which will hate life really quick. E fuel will be a must with that big of an injector.
Your best bet will be pull the motor and trans and do it all on a stand and change the clutch while your there. Make your life a lot easier.

The 250/200 injector means 250cc of fuel with a 200% oversized nozzle. Basically it allows more fuel flow.. I would call/email Jim @ Rosewood as he answered all of my questions relating to injectors.
Make sure you let him know what you are planning to do with them.
Like I want to have some good HP for fun, but still be good for towing without breaking the bank with dual HPOPs and headstuds etc... He recommended some hybrids with slightly oversized nozzles since they require less oil and can be tuned back if need be.
As for HPOP. The t-500 is a great oil pump if you plan on running stage 1s or maybe stage 2s... but if they are hybrids I think you can run bigger.
Like i said I dont know much, but what I do know is Jim knows injectors. lol
