New guy
Hey everyone! Though i would introduce myself. I live in Lloydminster, its right on the Ab/Sk border.
I own a 1975 f-100 that i have had for the past 4 years. I am the 3rd owner of this truck. Still has the 360 original motor that has never been done. It has the leaks to prove it! It is painted flat black right now. Will eventually get a nice classic two tone paint job on it. It also has a 6" lift with 35'' mickey thompson rubber and wheels. Will eventually rebuild the motor and stroke it to a 390. I actually picked this truck up in the states. My father and myself had a good old time driving it back!
My daily driver is a 04 f-350. 9'' lift 40'' tires and lots of other goodies.
I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Dont worry about the pics, I've been on here for over 7 years and havent figured that out yet but they still luv me...
Whats the cost of the a head job (man that sounds bad!)
When my gaskets were done on warranty, I installed ARP's at my cost, did the EGR blocker in the up - pipe, and I insisted the heads be sent out to be decked. I would have paid that myself because I was at the end of warranty but never had to play that card...

I called NADP in Edmonton and they gave a rough estimate of 5 to 8 thousand. There is no way i'll take it to the guy that did it the first time. I found a motor out of a 07 with 100,000km, with everything except the alternator. Has decked heads,studs, egr delete, oem gaskets. Im thinking i will go that route instead. I'm hoping to get it for $6000.
Definitely a expensive lesson learned!!! Hope to pull it in the next couple weeks and put these head gaskets issues behind me.
