coolant temp?

coolant temp?
What should the normal operating temp be? My gauge seems to be rading really low. Needle only goes to the "n" onb ormal before the thermostat opens and then goes back down to the first mark after it opens. Where should the gauge needle be?

Stock gauges in these things are useless, if worried, add a real gauge!
My F150, and Diesel F250, never even reach the N, and are running at operating temp.
But temps you should see on a real gauge, is somewhere around 180-200 cruising.
