is the tank empty? when i removed my tank it was still 1/2 full so i went off the "vapor line" that should be marked [on the highest point of the tank] and had fuel for my bbq for 3 years! after that i had to put it in the back 40 cracked the valve and let it seep out for a week then i had to steam it out just to take it to the scrap metal dealer in town those tanks are a real pain to get rid of but i can see their point that tank would be like a bomb when it went onto the oven any other way do you still have the green or the up graded black hose? if its the green it would probebly have to be changed out any ways for the inspection at least in alberta and 1 more point those inpco 425 carbs were only rated for about 300 cfm if i remember right so a 4v will make a differnce

Its black hoses and approx 1/4 full. My problem is I shut the fuel off from the tank and went to disconnect it and there was still fuel coming from the tank. Its a big job but I am looking forward to having it out. As for the bbq wont do me any good, mine is natural gas! Oh well.
