If you don't mind me asking how much and where did you get the FX lights front and rear. This is the first mod I've been wanting to do as I take delivery of my 150 in April. Thanks.
Thank you for the welcome. I did the bumpers with Plasti-dip as well as the replacement grille and grille shell as they were gloss black as supplied from the manufacturer. The texture and color are a perfect match to the OEM black plastic pieces and the coating is proving to be very durable.
I've never heard of Plasti-dip; I'll have to check that out. I've been thinking about ditching the chrome on my chrome package XLT myself and I was thinking about getting some type of sprayed on bed liner. Did you remove the bumpers before you painted them? Was the prep very involved?
I did not remove the bumpers before spraying. I just masked off with plastic sheeting and painters tape. The only prep needed is washing and then wiping down really good with alcohol.....that's it. It does not damage the chrome and since there is no scuffing involved you can just peel it off whenever you want. Folks do their badges, wheels, grilles....all kinds of stuff. It's $6 a can at Home Depot.
I've been thinking about going regular cab and 8' bed. How much space is behind the seat? I know on my 2004 I had a 3rd small door and there was tons of space. If it's as small as the OBS trucks I will opt for the supercab.

Thanks for answering that....PlastiDip seems to be all the rage on this forum. I was already curious to know what it was. I'll be doing the same when my XL comes in, want that dark look. Should blend in well with the Tuxedo and rubber mold below headlights.

The stuff is super easy to work with. I put 4 coats on everything I sprayed waiting 30 minutes between coats. The outside temp really isn't an issue as I sprayed my bumpers when it was 37* out.
