I got a question, why go with the stock style rounded bumper and not a heavier duty one?

Good question, I am never going to wheel this rig or even take it off the pavement. When I think of a heavy duty bumper I think of off road and since this one is just for the road and show the stock bumper is the best fit in my opinion.
Also I have a line on a factory cactus smasher, which is awesome!!!

Ah ok, that makes more sense. It'll definitely be a nice truck.

The more I read through this since I've missed so much, the more I get upset that I don't live closer. It would be such an honor to work on this truck or have someone with your experience help me with my restoration this summer. Got the check list all set up and ready to go when (well if) warmer weather ever arrives!

Carpet arrived today, Saturday delivery from JBG surprised the hell out of me!

It is medium saddle cutpile from ACC, I will be adding some additional insulation but it is very nice and full.

Mocking up the Superduty master cylinder, fabbed up an adapter, fits perfectly with plenty of room.

I have to do some cleaning and I need a Bronco MC rod, anybody got one laying around?

Can't wait to get settled in the new place so I can swing by to help and hang out again. Then I can bug you for help when I pull my motor and tranny.

Yea, it won't be anything major. Just pulling it to put all new gaskets so it will stop marking its territory. That should only take a weekend and a couple 20 packs

It's a manly truck, it does manly things, like occasionally marking its territory to ward off other vehicles.

So true, but I don't want fines from the HOA.

We can just kick some dirt over it and pretend we didn't see anything.

Been working on the dash today, I didn't care for the wood grain so I filled it in with poly glaze and painted them with some satin black.
I still have some work to do to them and a couple of runs, no biggie though.
I am happy with the look, it should turn out will with some more time into them.

Opinions?

I like the white/black dashboard, but since it's not fully back together with the cluster and everything it's kind of a hit or miss look at the moment.

Set the cluster and glove box cover in, I thought about silver, but black is the way to go for sure.

Now does all that white have the pearl accent in it just like the rest of the truck or is it just a gloss white? Either way that is one good looking dash board. I re-read through this build to get tips on my own and every time I get more ideas I don't need! lol it's hard enough not having a garage or a decent welder.
