Last time I pulld by trailer breaks quit working they wOuld flicker a bit but not enough I have check my wires in back and on controller an harness found a loosish one on back but that was after my in bed plug where it's hooked in and it didn't work in either position ??? Help ASAP
Sounds like it could be a connection problem or poor ground. Go over each and every connection to make sure they are clean and tight and well insulated. Could be bare wire somewhere as well. The typical crimp connectors are known to go bad over time and allow corrosion to eat away at wires. Also be sure to check the plug and wiring on the trailer, that could do it as well. Good luck, hope you get it fixed !
Ok get this when I have my 7 tester plugged in no trailer breakes unless I have 6 tester in too weird but my constant 12 power on 6 is actually breaks so I need to swap wires
I'm not for sure I think I got it I just got home from shop I think my whole problem was the wire under neith... But also then testors I bought off of Mac tools today don't offer enough resistance to make the break controller show a trailer hooked but when I would press breaks it would light up the light in the back on the testor but I I had both testors hooked up it would say a trailer is hooked no no matter which two of the three locations they hooked to kinda weird but tomorrow sometime after work I will back up to the camper and plug it in and see if my controller reads the trailer
