soft top

I know ive seen this question answered on here before but i couldnt find it when i searched. Is there any difference between a 91 soft top and a 96? I dont think there is, its only listed to 91 beacause of the seatbelt law changes right?

Correct sir no difference in size or shape at all you kuat lose the top bolt hole dor the rear three ooint sealtbelts i got rear lap belts out of a junkyard mustang that matched my interior on my 96xlt

The top didn't undergo ANY physical changes in dimensions between 1980 and 1996. 1992 saw a change in the top mounting hardware (from HHCS to T-40 tamper-proof Torx), the addition of the shoulder harness rear seat belt anchors above the windows and the combination stop/cargo lamp assembly above the tailgate glass. Soft tops made to fit 1980 and up will work.
