Broken fuel pump - plunger snapped off

Fuel pump snapped off can’t get piece out of motor how do we get it out

we took off fuel pump and the plugger snapped in half I don’t know how to get it out

crank engine by hand until it lifts up
use a magnet for the plunger
the aluminum might have to be drilled with a vac cleaner if pliers cant get it
