77 f350 brake bracket on power steering box
Hello-
I am replacing the power steering gear box in my 1977 F350 Custom. Truck has dual tanks (the plastic rear fuel tank ), extendable bumper and spare in the passenger side of the bed.
351M 4 speed. 183K original.
Replacing the power steering gear box (truck sat for 12 years, seals hemorrhaging.
Searched the site and found all (1 19/64" pitman nut, removal, bleeding, proper Type F fluid etc) to replace (thanks) except the brake bracket.
The unit I bought does not have the brake line bracket installed.
Question- should I remove the two bolts (one at a time) and swap mine into the rebuilt (or should I say resealed)?
Tha nks
