Thanks for the link. I just was on the website and you better hurry to get your order in. The 7 letter program ends on the 14th at 7 am!

It's pretty expensive here for personalized plates, so I'm going to pass. $400 for one year! Way cheaper to buy the 10 year plan at $800, but I came from IA where it only cost $25/yr.

Post pics when you get the new plates on! Love your truck, BTW!

 

Wow, I'm jealous. My Ex in Michigan is $164 a year, not personalized (even though I happened to wind up with EX as two of the three letters, in that order). I thought I heard personalized ones are like an extra $25/yr IIRC.

My grandpa registers both of his cars in Florida even though one stays up here all the time because it's so much cheaper down there. Yet we still seem to have the worst roads...

Hey Lisa, What did you decide? Did you make the deadline? Time for an update.

 

Well, I missed the deadline by about 30 minutes. We had gone to the rodeo the night before. It was very late when we got to the RV. Although I took my iPad, I could not get my wifi to work that morning so I missed it! I had it down to DRK HRSE or SZMATRS. But, now I'm looking at GLBL WMR - boy that one really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. But I'll have to wait til the next 7 letter offering. But I'm prepared now.

Thx on the truck. I love it but it is giving me problems right now. Yep - the plates are expensive. That the new program here. Instead of the State doing it, a private company oversees the personalized plates. They cost an arm, leg and foot. AND, you still have to pay your annual State fee. They get you every which way.

My coupe has plates under the old plan with the state - they were cheap cheap. The ZR1 has the new plan and cost me out the wazoo - I did for 10 years. Not sure about the Ex yet.

Winner winner chicken dinner. What do you get - the sheer satisfaction of knowing you thought of a great Ex plate!

I want to thank you for this opportunity to give a short speech. Thank You... Thank You... One and all. I want to take a moment to thank my family for all they have done for me over the years. I also want to thank all the greenies out there that allowed me to annoy them when ever possible. And to my younger cousin for being fellow car nut while we were growin' up.
