Sweet coolant smell while driving.....
Like you I immediately thought of the heater core. Now while it may be the problem, I'm hoping it's not and here's why....first no coolant on floor and second, my radiator on the passenger side is wet on the plastic part from top to bottom with small leaking. So hopefully the smell is just blowing in from the engine bay. My question is this, how difficult is a radiator swap in a 98 Gator and where should I look for a replacement tank? Thanks!

It's a fairly straight forward swap, like any radiator. The one big exception is with wrangling the lower quick-connect fitting. For that you have to find and bend a tab back, rotate the connector 45 degrees, and then pull the connector off. Pulling it off is a whole lot easier to say than do.
For about 1/2 price on the radiator, go to: Radiator Express and they will deliver it pretty quick.
