Steering column swap
I have an 85 truck, currently a non-tilt manual truck. I am swapping a auto into the truck and have an 89 auto sitting here to steal parts off. Can the 89 steering column be swapped in and still look right? I'm curious about the shift indicator in the dash mostly, i know the cabs are the same. or would i be better off to make a steering column using parts from both to fit my needs? I have considered a floor shifter like in jegs but would like to keep the fctory look if possible, thanks
