People should know the dangers of what they are doing when they accept the "challenge" of what they are doing.
I auto-x and race on the weekends, I KNOW what CAN happen, thats why I keep my cars in top mechanical condition. When/if something happens I will be expecting it.
I agree it is a dangerous situation. Im sure "Billy Joe Bob" knew what he was getting himself into when he downed his beer, pulled off his shirt and hollared out "hey dude watch this". As a hack show off myself, the danger is half the allure of being hotshot. lol Ofcourse there are alot of things assumed in my version. haha

Yup. That's definitely a "hold my beer and watch this" stunt.
I'm sure that chevy guy didn't care a real lot. The next day he probably pulled another cab out of the field of chevy trucks and whipped out the 110v flux core welder and welded that axle back up good as new!.
Wow do that in Ny they will send your butt to jail. Must be fun to back up!
There isn't much backing up done. You watch ahead and make sure you can get out where ever you pull in. I go to the same campground every year so I know where I can and can't go with the train. It is funny the looks you get while traveling.
Once pulling into the campground a bunch of people started yelling at me and one guy was running toward me! I though for sure something was wrong and the way everyone was yelling I thought I ran over their first born or something. When the guy runs up to my window he asks, "what do you have to do to pull two trailers?"
