96 bronco swap

Hi. I have a 96 bronco that had a 5.8 e4od in it. I have pulled the motor and tranny and swapped the motor into a 95 f150. Now I have a 89 f350 with 460 and zf5spd that I want to swap into this bronco. I realize the 460 is currently speed density and the wiring harness plug is differant to the firewall between the trucks. Im trying to plan this as best as possible. What would be the best way to drop that 460 in. Use the 89 wiring harness and computer and rewire instrument cluster to accept old wiring? Find a new mass airflow 460 wiring harness and adapt it to bronco? Or is there some slim chance the 5.8 wiring harness with a new computer could run the 460? thanks for any help.

best would be to find a 96 year truck and swap over all the wiring, dash etc.. your gonna have issues with the 4wabs system as well since the trucks never really had that i dont believe. you would have been better off putting the 460 into the F150 and leaving the bronco alone. it had OBD-II efi which can be a pain but also a godsend since it has a bunch of programability to it and can handle lots of mods/upgrades.

this can be done, hope your not busy for a month haha. take lots of notes and pictures. keep us posted and we will do our best to help.
