The theme of the truck was
in 1954 Elvis was a truck driver for Crown electric
soo he could of drove a 1948 truck
that was the same year he recorded his first record

Elvis' first record was a Sun label single with "That's All Right" backed by "Blue Moon of Kentucky." The single was recorded in 1954 and brought Elvis national attention.

I'd like to say I remember that, but I was only 5, and heard the song much later.

Joe, I forgot to ask, what class did they put you in, and was this an ISCA sanctioned event? I just watched your video. That is a gorgeous truck.
