Radiator Leak

Finished STC fitting, egr delete, and new oil cooler this weekend. Now the truck is leaking coolant out of the front of the radiator right in the middle. Could I have cracked it doing my work? I made it a conscious effort to not kneel on the radiator. Will something like Radiator Stop Leak help me out or am I looking at a new radiator?

DO NOT use STOP leak in your coolant system! Pressure test the system & determine the leak. Need be buy a new radiator.

If you want to replace the cooler again. Go ahead. But, yes, find the leak.
I have kneeled on mine a few times, never thought about it.

There are a few alternatives to buying another plastic one. Here's one:

All-Aluminum Radiator Ford Power Stroke Diesel 6.0

Good luck on your find!

Already at the shop to be replaced. Don't have the time to spend another evening leaning over my truck to replace the stupid thing. Why would Ford make them so weak as to crack under the weight of one man?

BTW - As the truck loses coolant will it continuously run worse and worse? The Ford tech said no, but this is twice now I have lost alot of my coolant (once a while back with a leaking hose) and both times as the truck loses coolant it almost acts like it has a really bad miss. Gets worse as more coolant escapes.

less coolant so it cant cool ur system quickly enough or as well enough. pretty soon, parts are gonna overheat, engine overheats....... of cos, ur car is gonna act like its possessed. skipping n hopping around.....

on the other hand, it could also be something else.

Update...

Got the truck back today. The radiator had three cracks in it. Still can't believe the radiator would crack from a little weight being applied to it. I know I never put my knee on it just leaned my hand on it a couple times. Really tried not to put any weight on it at all. Guess I'll have to be more careful next time.

The truck runs 100 times better with the radiator repaired. I still have my stumble and slight miss at idle I've been having for awhile but the horrible miss at slow speed and idle I was having with the cracked radiator is gone.
