I have been talking about these in other threads, but I seem to be the only one on this forum to have tried this out. These flares are made by a company called Prestige. Prestige No Drilling Fender Flares
I bought this set of flares for $250 shipped on eBay, and keep in mind this is the new in box price. I did a test fit of them and they fit great. I took my truck to the body shop and they quoted me $150 for remove, paint and re-install.
The only issue they ran into was most of the clips on the rear broke when they removed the flares. This was the body shops fault though, they were not the smartest people, but I had an insurance claim though them at the same time so I just wanted to do everything at once. So for the re-install they just screwed the rear flares into place on the inside fender lip. It bugs me but what can you do since its now done.. But I dont plan on ever removing them so it should be okay..
No other pics with my at the moment.. I called the company to talk to them about painting tips, and they told me straight over the phone and I quote "our product is identical to bushwacker flares, just half the price"
I didnt even look to see where they are made, they could be from China for all I know. I am all for supporting American companies, but at $500+ for a set of unpainted flares I would of never bought them..
agreed the main thing holding me back from getting them is that they were so expensive but now that you posted about these im leaning more towards them now lol.
Ive read about you buying these. They look great. Flares are on my list but like you said Bushwacker is pretty proud of thier product. I will have to look into these. I just bought a second hand tuner so the truck budget is shot for now.
You know, I bet you could almost rattle can those and have decent results. The right kind of paint would do just as good. HHMMMMM? Dang every time I see something turn out neat, my gears start turning.

Sounds like the clips were plastic, is that the case?
No the clips were metal, but they clip onto the plastic flares, the rear flares are held on with a very strong outward pressure, so I am sure they did not take the pressure of the flares before removing the clips and that cause the clip to pull outward on the thin plastic holding it in place if that makes since.
can you put more pictures of the rear and when i went to ebay they are 264 plus 50 dollars for shipping am i doing something wrong could you put up the url thanks!
Look up ebay seller heavydutytrucks, he calls them "ruff", "boss", and "offroad" flares. I asked him what's the deal and he told me its just a marketing thing and they are really all the same. All you wanna do is decide if you want textured or smooth, yet keep in mind even the smooth do have a slight texture to them.

They are not the same. I bought the bushwackers and my buddy bought these. Mine were taller, stuck out 1/2 inch more and were thicker material. Truth of the matter is without having the trucks side by side and knowing the stats I paid double what he did and received a very similar product. The paint did not stick to his well but I do not think it was prepped properly.
