electrical system problem please help

electrical system problem please help

I have a 2004 f150 4.6 supercrew. I was changing the plugs and un pluged the pcm with the battery still connected. now the truck will die and have no power at all. no codes, battery and ait good.

Take the battery off for a minute or so and then stick it back on. If it acts the same, and you still have no codes, drive it for a couple of days and see if it comes back around. These computers "learn" the sensors on your particular engine, and though I haven't heard of a case as drastic as yours sounds, once you take the power off it loses the learned info and it takes awhile to re-learn. It's usually a little bit of a rough idle, maybe a stall once or twice, and maybe a little power difference. See what happens after you drive it a couple of times.

alt is good. after 5 to 10 min it started with no problem
