Oh and to clarify, it wasnt a bent push rod. The valve got stuck in the valve guide and allowed the pushrod to fall out.

If your valve got caught in the guides you have more problems than Dan at a job interview.

Ok.. Maybe it will tear up again, but it's fine now, they pulled the head and checked out the valve and replaced the valve guide in question.

That was most likely an excuse from your engine builder so that they did not look like the screwed the pooch......valve hanging in the guide is shoddy machine work.... sorry....... but I did this for a living back in the day.... I am glad that they took responsibility for it and fixed it !
