10K Mod

i am thinking about this 10K mod... i was thinking about putting a multipositon switch and just use different resistors for each one. kind of making my own chip in a way.... any one know anything that could ruin my truck or anything? or does it sound like a good plan for being on a budget

This is a link to a thread that has a post on the way Copedawg did the 10k mod and I think it's worth a good look. It sounds like it worked well for him, a little more complicated but a nice job. Oh ya it the last post on the link I think it was perma link #15.
