Just recieved the box with the "yellow tape" and installed the hpx and frx!!! While I was there I went ahead and re-sealed the ipr....forgot the cork, oops...Well it all went pretty well, someone had posted a while back about pulling the a/c, Ha, I should have. But I got it!! I also changed the boots at the plenum with the riffraff blue ones! Filled the hpop back up and it run rough for a while...up to twenty miles ..maybe at 50 i will have all the air out?? Any ways I am already seeing some improvements...Only thing that really went wrong was my RIFFRAFF sticker I got it all on but the letters got messed up Wish I had another one,, well maybe next order!
HPx is awesome... I had one I made outta hose on the truck before and I could tell a difference over that. Might be the larger ID or the fact that Clay's HPx doesn't dip down into the valley like mine did?
Have my FRx and HPx in the garage waiting for a few more weeks until I can find some time to get them in along with everything else I am putting on. I have placed numerous orders to Riffraff over the last few months; I must have 10 stickers sitting on the bench. If you want some, send me your address and I can drop them in the mail on Monday.
Just installed my FRX yesterday and I love it already. Gonna install hpx next, how do you like yours ?
It's very smooth...It sounds and feels like a different truck!! Even starts faster...I am using the gold spring, wonder if it's too much for stock injectors And thank you for the offer SARdiverdan I will pm ya!!
Not sure about the HPX but I built my own FRx and can tell you the air bubbles in the fuel system should be gone almost instantly with the FRx. I noticed a pretty decent change with the FRx as well, smoother, quieter, and no more slow speed on/off throttle.
decal install, add a couple drops of dishwash soap to a quart of water. put light coat on area and decal, can be repositioned, work out air bubbles with cedit card etc.

I am not a fan of stickers on my ride but that was a good one!!!I will clean first next time
I use #000 steel wool and window cleaner to clean my glass. Followed up by a nice microfiber towel and keep rubbing till all is dried up and no streaks showing.

I think I got the air when I pulled the IPR to rebuild....forgot to put a cork in the hole...saving up for the gauges and chip now

I did all that at the same time as well. I did turbo o-rings, injector o-rings, high pressure oil lines o-rings, the whole top end deal! My X was running perfectly before I made it out of the garage. Your supposed to put a cork in the IPR when you pull the solenoid?
