Possible Upgrades

I have a 2000 F250 7.3 and I am going to do the normal upgrades like 08+ tailgate and mirrors, 05-07 grill header and headlights, 05-07 dash etc., etc. My question is what interior upgrades are easily done. i am interested in the following and I am looking for Pro's and cons to each and any advice you might have. Love this site and spend allot of time here.

-I have mechanical odometer and would like to upgrade to the digital gauges and selector.
-I would like to upgrade to the 08+ steering wheel with the controls. I know the column is shaped different so just wondering how hard it is to change the lower dash to accept it.
-Backup sensors
-Passenger airbag switch

Thanks in advance for all you help.

You will have a hard time upgrading to the digital odometer and the steering wheel controls. You would need a full wiring harness upgrade for all of that.

Backup sensors are available aftermarket, so that would be straight forward. You could find a wrecked truck with them and get all the parts and wire it up too.

Passenger airbag switches are not on the crewcabs. You can most likely install one. The wiring is tucked behind the dash panel.
