Ok so im not a big fan of the 87 front clip on the ranger. I have a 87 stx and want to convert to the 90 front clip. From what I can tell i will need to swap the fenders, lights, Harness,grill, rad support and bumper. Once the Radiator support is changed is the rest a direct bolt on? Will the 87 hood work? Also If anyone can lead me to a thread that better explains it I will greatly appreciate it.

 

You will need the hood also. I did my 88 with the front end off a 91 but I changed out the whole doghouse. But what you are doing will work just fine.

 

When you say doghouse do you mean inner fenders and all? If so are there any modifications I need to do to the current ones? Thanks for your response.

 

The radiator support is all you really need as the inner wells are the same between the truck years.
