I'M BACK!!!!!! Good afternoon Ontario and all who visit.I tell you gang, if I EVER get this 400 back together and running you will see AND hear one happy guy. WHY you may ask well....... first the HEI I bought from Performance Distribuyors doesn'r fit. It hits the Performer intake and the thermostat housing, and then it sits SOOOO high that you can't use the stock style air intake ie: Edelbrock( which my kids gave me for Xmas one year)and I have a 2" spacer on top of the carb already to clear the stock distributor!!!!The intake sat high on the block and I had to have it milled .050 for it to sit right. I guess you are all wondering why I bitch to you all so much about this build...well it's because you guys and gals KNOW where I am coming from. Sometimes it gets so frustrating that you have to whine and complain to some one THANKS GANG for listening. AND it's TOO warm for me already!!! Popa John
