Hey guys, my friend has a '97 F250, 7.3 and is having problems which look like they are fuel related.
These trucks do not have the OBDII plug but looks like one. I have an Edge CTS engine monitor, so can I connect to the OBDI and read his codes?
Also, he says his fuel pump is a mechanical one in the engine valley. Are they proned to leaking fuel into the valley?
I'm not sure about the Edge. The fuel pump is mechanical and when its on its last leg it weeps fuel out a small hole. Most of the leaks are from the small fuel lines down by the fuel pump.

It is a OBDII port the cts will plug in and read the codes and live data
Thats where i have mine glenn. I have a four pod pillar also but havent got any gauges for it yet. Im haveing a tough time deciding which ones. Like do i match the scan gauge with s p a or pro sport gauges or do i match the dash with issapro? I know it shouldnt matter but i like stuff to match
I want to get a dp tunner with the gauge selector so im leaning more towards the digital ones. The s p a ones are pricey so it will prob be the pro sports
Sounds like your getting it figured out Gabe. I just added mine one at a time until I had seven in total. Then I got the scan gauge which duplicated a few of them, lol.
