And is it me or is there a serious dent in the rear bumper on the driver side? Guess the backup sensors may not have been working?

I noticed the same thing. If I had $90k to burn, I wouldn't be spending it on a truck with a beat-up rear bumper.

Other than that, I love it.

I'd rather spend $90k on a low mileage 05 platinum excursion AND a low mileage 2011 king ranch... lol maybe have enough spare change for a lightly used focus.

its realistic. 05 creampuff v10 limiteds go for 20k all day, you can find an '11 king ranch with under 25k for $40k... thats only 60k. Hell, splurge and get yourself a new mustang GT. Youre still under budget.

who would spend 90k on that? Not to mention no dealer or mechanic is gonna want to look at it when you start to have electrical problems 9 or 10 years down the road.

There is only 15 wires to hook up from the Ex into the new body stile. All splices made at driver side door sill or fuse box under hood. All wires solder, shrink wrapped, and tapped. What do you guys think it takes to do one of these? Here is the one I am building. It's more then just a front end body swap. But I agree 90k is outrages. I'm willing to sell mine for right around half that.

Oh I've been following your thread, you talked about all the headaches in shortening the harness and splicing wires and changing bulb sockets and etc, it sounded a lot more difficult. Even if its not, I don't think I dealer would touch it...

I would never cut a truck with warranty a part and I am sure that those trucks are not warranty once they go to a dealer for a problem. They are going to say this isn't a F250/F350 warranty void. I care what Tim has to say about keeping warranty. They void for chipping and modifications. The dealers aren't going to turn there heads for this. I have nothing hide and I will show anyone that buys or wants to buy my truck what was all done to it to make it look the way it is. Not only that but do you guys realize that all his Ex's that are 08 and up are tiled as pickup trucks. What happens when you pile it up and the Ins. Company ask what the hell is this and doesn't cover it. I been in contact with my Ins. company on how to Insure it once it's done. It's been quite difficult. Don't get me wrong he does a nice job but I don't want one of my customers have a problem done the road with anything.

I would think you could claim to the insurance company that it's an F250 with a permanent cap welded on to avoid... er, I mean comply with the non-commercial vehicle registration requirements...
