The egr delete I posted included an oil filter also which is why it's 469.

A helicoil will fix that thread just fine.
Many military applications require helicoils in all threads.
They are reliable.

I've always wanted to do the egr delete anyway. Gives me an excuse to spend the money and time.
Plus, I've had some other issues like jerking/stuttering/shaking, etc. Hoping that maybe some of this stuff may help, such as the STC fitting. Maybe not but worth a shot.

Benny,
I don't need the oil feed tube, do I? Can't I reuse the one I've got?

I have a oil cooler housing cover that I took off my late build 04 when I replaced the cooler with a BPD unit. If you need it, PM me and we can work something out. I don't think I'll need it again.

Turbo Oil Feed right ??????
Yes you can reuse the one you have the braded line
The newer one is a solid 1 peice design but last time I looked it was outragiously priced
they also have an updated turbo drain alittle less restrictive for IIRC 40.00 but
Iv never had a problem with the OEM lines so I didnt do either

I have an oil cooler housing coming my way thanks to NewToDiesels.
Is it possible to simply replace the housing without doing the oil cooler? Or is it worth it to get the egr deleted and STC fitting replaced?
