So darren, why did you get the boot off that property???? were you tearing it up???
Still trying to figure that one out gig.
We went to the public access which we have done many times and it was locked. So I went in another way which is prob what got their dander up. I went in through the livestock loading area which is private. They then locked that gate and locked us in. So was just gonna go to the other side and get out there... but there were some hills and musked I was not comfortable with taking the kids thru. So we went back and called the guys. But they were already out playing with us. Once they "caught" us they realized we were not doing anything wrong. We closed all the gates, stayed away from livestock (we covered 70% of the area and didn't see ANY livestock). They must be having trouble with people doing whatever in there. He actually said sorry for locking us in once I talked to him and he saw what we were doing. I told him I was coming back to use my 8,000 lb key.
Should be good now, just gotta call to get in I guess.
Funny part is when he said why were you trying to run from us? I said "What??". He says I was driving very fast. I told him I was just teaching the kids how to pound on the truck and I would have stopped if I would have seen him. He laughed.
Typical Canadian gov I suppose, they tell you when you can use public access LOL
Some land owners simply get tired of being nice.
These guys sounded reasonable once you talked with them.
As with anything, some abuse stuff and ruin it for others.
I have land growing pines.
In most cases, I'm sure its teens but I pick up beer cans on my land almost every time I'm out there.
Leave no trace and I don't know you're on my land. It's that simple.
Tear crap up and leave trash and I start to become grumpy land owner and I don't want to be that way but come on.
The other issue is, in this sue happy world, liability for them doing something stupid.

100% agreed, however this is not private land, it is government land.
Hi Guys,
Hope you all had a good weekend. Great pics Darren, looks like you had fun! We got 3.5" of rain Friday night/Sat/Sun from Isaac, so Monday afternoon, I got to do something I haven't done for ages.
