First 6.4 problem

I took my truck to the local dealership to get a couple things looked at. I noticed recently it was running and sounded a little different. I notice my coolant level was about a half inch low and I was having a longer then normal regen cycle, so I thought maybe my EGR was leaking/burning coolant and it was causing my DPF to get plugged up fast. Well they pressured tested everything and it turns out that was all ok. Not sure what happened to that half inch of coolant? What they found was my turbo exhaust intake was leaking. This is a pretty big job I guess. They have to drop the transmission out. Thankfully I'm under Ford's warranty until December and I have an extended warranty after that. Now I'm wondering how this is going to effect my turbos in the long run? Sorry for the long post, just figured I'd share my experience.

won't effect a thing. Turbos are lubricated by oil and this has nothing to do with it.

It should help with the regens though be allowing for all the exhaust to route like it should.

That's good to hear. I figured something wasn't right with the regens and that would make perfect sense.

Not to derail but I do not want to start a new thread with a quick answer maybe.

If turbos are lubed with oil then wouldn't the CCV mod affect the turbo?? Or does the turbo get oil from somewhere else?
