2013 Explorer - ordered. Now what?

Hi all. I am new here and since you all seem to know a lot about everything Ford, I thought I would see if anyone could answer my question (my dealer can't!).
I ordered a 2013 Explorer (XLT) on January 7. Its been 7 weeks and the latest information from my dealer is "there seems to be a holding pattern at the factory" <- What does that mean? How much longer am I going to have to wait?
I guess I'm not in a huge rush as my current car (2009 GMC Acadia) is fine, but I'm anxious for the new explorer!
Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

I believe they are scheduled to be delivered sometime in March. Did you order 2nd row captains chairs in the XLT? If so, there is a material hold until early May I believe.

Thank you! I did not order the captain's chairs, so that part shouldn't be an issue for me. Thanks again.

The one I initially ordered is scheduled to come in the beginning of April, but the dealer got an almost identical one in last week and called me to give me first shot at it, so I took that one. Love it so far, but haven't had much time to play yet.
