If it is a 65 with a 6 cylinder, and the carb is on the passenger side then it is either a 240 or a 300, it doesn't make a difference in most parts though because they only way to tell the difference is to know the stroke I believe. (Someone will pipe in if I am wrong). Everything about them is the same except that. I have a 240 in my 66, and when I replace it I will put a 300 in it's place.
