Instrument cluster

Anyone know what size bulbs are in instrument clusters? 194's?? I've got a couple out on the left side and I'm just gonna replace them all when I remove it. Thanks

I replaced a few bulbs in my '06 6.0 PSD cluster a few months ago, this is what I used. 14.0v -1.4w Sylvania 74LL, 2pack for $4 @ autozone.

How do you replace the bulbs? Do you have to remove the dashboard? Is there a post that tells how to do it? I have a couple bulbs out in my cluster as well.

Your right. I used the 74-GHP from superbrightleds.com. Two of the bulbs for the speedometer create bright spots. Its not too bad, but I may eventually change them back.

That didn't dawn on me right away, I'm just wanting to reduce the electrical load on my truck. Same reason I'm trying to find the right fixtures for my trailer. +2 on the keep us posted on how those work out for you.

How many bulbs are there in the cluster? I might as well change them all while I'm in there to replace the burned out one.

Finally did mine yesterday, a total of 14 bulbs all together. I just went to my local dealership for them. From start to finish, about an hour taking my time really...
