7.3L won't crank

This is for my 2002, F-350 XLT, 7.3L, CC, SRW, 4X4.

I had just cleaned my shop up enough to get the front of my truck in to change both front wheel bearing assemblies (320,000km). Then I got in my truck stuck the key in, waited for the wait to start light to go out, tried to start ... nothing, zip, nota, no crank. I drove her home the night before with out any issues. I'm sure it's not the batteries (tested with a load tester, both are good (and 1 month old each)). When I put the key and turn to wait to start every thing seems fine I can hear the pre heat solenoids cycle fine, all the normal beep, blips and buzzes it's just when I turn the key to start there is nothing.

I looked through a Haynes Repair Manual electrical system and started checking the following:
Fuse 31, Good
Fuse 51, Can't find it
Fuse 61, Can't find it
Starter Relay (307), Good

I have also tried turning the key and shaking the steering column and shifter. I have also retightened the torx bolts on the Park/Neutral switch at the steering column.

Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

After checking your fuses...

Try jumping the starter solenoid on the fender... if it starts, replace the solenoid, if it does nothing, look at the starter.

Have you checked voltage at the starter? At starter solenoid as well? Checked all connections batteries all the way to the starter?

I took a quick look in the dark with a flash light, I didn't see a solenoid on the fender, what side should I be looking.

I don't think the 2002's have a solenoid on the fender like earlier models, it is on the starter itself.

I changed the starter about a year and half ago ... I think it was on the starter now that you say that.

Have someone feel the starter relay to see if it is operating when key is turned to start position. If not it could be the ignition switch.

I have an 01 f350 that just did the same thing ( 0nly 35,000 mi).........I drove in the driveway stopped turned it off, went back 10 min later to move it.........nothing no crank.........I've gone thru the steps above as well as replacing the heat air sensor in the air filter box.........it didn't look quite right. ( last year did the same thing and this sensor was the issue) is there any resolution to this problem.......need your help thanks.............I did read a note from one of the supporters ( Lou Braun) from 2003.........will look into his suggestions as well. 5-31-12

Mine turned out to be my starter solenoid, after all.

I didn't think it could have been the starter solenoid as I had started it dove it no problem. Then went to start it the next day and nota! The starer was not very old so I started looking every where else first.

Turned out the last time that starter solenoid activated it gave it's all and blew the plastic cap to bits. When I crawled under my truck and stuck my hand up to just feel the solenoid as my 7 year old son was going to try and start it for me, things just didn't "feel"right up in there. So I told my son to stand by and I fished my head up with my light and squinted one eye and finely saw what had happened. The terminal lugs were just hanging in the air and all I could hear in my head was that old Service Station attendant from the corner when I was a kid say'n "WHY THERE"S YR PROBLEM SON".
