comp cam 268h

anyone had any experience with it it will be going in a 78 f250 4x4 390 bored .30 over stock heads for now may go with some cj heads if i come across them headers 4barrell edelbrock and a manifold off an old galexie may go with an edelbrock there aswell the truck wont tow much if any just to play in the mud cruise around town

looking at the same cam for my motor would def like to here some opions on it

They claim the comp 268H is very similar to the factory 390GT cam. When this cam is used with a CR in the 9's and a decent breathing carb/intake package, it tends to please most people looking for a bit more power than stock, while still capable of dealing with the fuel sold at most pumps these days.
300-325HP and 400-450TQ are pretty common with this combo.

Pretty much the same? Looking for thr most power while making sure my power brakes won't fail.
