Beautiful truck, Tux black is the nicest F-150 color hands down, I'm just not brave enough to buy a black truck. How do you like the 5.0L? My truck has 5900 miles on it right now, I changed the OEM dino out at 1500 miles to Mobil 1 5-20 Fully Synthetic, at 4600 miles my oil was down almost 1/2 Qt.
Everything I've found on the web points to these motors are oil-burners. Basically there is a vac line in the valve cover recirculation that blows oil back into the intake tract/ plumbing to be sent back through the motor. Not sure if it like this on purpose or not but if you search on the web someone makes a little catch can that is suppose to stop the oil from going through the vac-line and intake.
