Air Conditioner Problems
Air Conditioner Problems
Jumped in the truck to run some errands last Thursday and the air conditioner was blowing hot air out the vents. It was about 82deg outside so definately didn't need the hot air. Dropped the truck off at the dealer about 3pm and they had it ready by noon on Friday. They had to replace the evaporator. I've had the truck since the end of October and this is the first time it's been back to the shop. They did a great job, got the truck out in record time considering they had to remove the dash.
Glad to hear that they got it fixed the first time without any issues! I'd suggest paying close attention for the remainder of your warranty period for any squeaks or rattles that resulted from the dash removal. Probably not likely, but once it's out of warranty it's not their problem!
I had the exact same problem at about 10k miles. The dealer took the dash out, put a new dryer in (I think that's what they call it). Everything back together perfect and works great.
Only problem I ever had with this truck.
