2mm difference is hard to detect. They probably made them bigger so you wouldn't mix them up. 2MM of wear is probably equal to 50000 miles

Send them back or sell them on Ebay. They will usually refund all your money and shipping if they think you are going to cause a fuss.

Next time just wrap some tape around the bar and put them back in.

How did it go ?

I was looking at the pictures of the swaybars in my haynes manual, and it shows the setup for a 2wd is different in the front.

The pictures are not great in the haynes manual so I Was wondering:
Are the end links the same on a 2wd ? I can't see.

I did notice the swaybar to frame brackets have cracked and dried out rubber in it badly.

Anybody ever get a set for 2WD that fit?
I ordered mine 18 months ago and they have too much material
which keeps them from fitting. I've been debating cutting down
the excess since nobody seems to have found a solution for 2wd?

Bought from RockAuto: Raybestos 34.4mm for RWD 5501535

The picture shows there is WAY too much material between the
hole for the swaybar and the flat surface that would be against the truck.

I ordered them and will let you know. It does look like it from the picture.
I measured my swaybar on the 2000 2wd ex, it is 34 mm.

Thanks! The issue is whether the clamp will reach
the frame over those bushings..
I hope they fit!

yes, I understand the issue. I should have them in about a week.
Going to remove the existing swaybar and endlinks this weekend and remove the endlink bushings.
