Leak

I have developed another leak. Not sure what it is yet. Noticed it while changing my oil and fuel filters this morning. Truck is 2005 F-250 6 Liter. Substance is leaking in exact same spot the coolant did when my egr hose was leaking (fixed with blue hose). Leaking down back passenger side of motor and depositing on the ground about even with the passenger mud flap. I looked up the back of the motor using a flashlight and the back of the motor was soaked as far as up as a could see. I also replaced the oil pressure sensor switch within the last couple thousand miles. I crawled up in the motor compartment and looked around with the flashlight and didn't seem to see anything. The CAC boot the connects to the turbo right above the egr hose and oil pressure switch had some oil on it but didn't appear to be leaking or dripping. Doesn't appear that the new egr hose or oil pressure sensor are leaking again.

Any ideas??

It's possible a heater hose leaking...but hard to say without knowing what the fluid is. I'd figure out what it is before assuming the worse....could be the a/c (defroster will activate the a/c system) condensation draining out the bottom and the back of the motor is clean from the coolant leak?

Never cleaned the back of the motor. I just replaced the hose and moved on. I cleaned what I could get at but that wasn't much.

I'm going to place a paper towel under the truck overnight tomorrow when I'm back at the garage and try to figure out what the fluid is.

My clean comment was related to what coolant was running down the back of the engine when the EGR hose was leaking. But a paper towel or newspaper under it is a good idea.

I had a very similar problem and it turned out to be an o-ring under the front of the intake manifold on the passenger side. Here is a link to the thread I started about the issue. I posted pics of the problem and work done I believe they're on page three or four.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.

The fluid seems to be very watery. It is a dark gray almost black color with zero smell. The valley to the left of the egr hose is very wet and has appears to have a puddle in it. Looks like it's coming from something besides the egr hose though. When I have time I'm going to remove the CAC boots, clean up, and re-install and see if that helps.
