stuck egr valve
I started with the process of removing parts to change my oil cooler yesterday. Im going really slow and cleaning everything as I go. I took the week off from work so, that I wouldn't have to get in a hurry. Does anyone have a link or suggestion for the removal of a egr valve that is stuck? It is stuck because it is so gunked up inside! Thanks in advance.

After you remove the two mounting bolts, can you twist it at all? If so, twist it enough so the bolt holes are clear, run a 10ga. wire through both holes so as to create a handle to pull on. Then put a pry bar through the wire handle and pry straight up on the valve against the intake elbow.
