Light On Fender Help

I have a 1964 f-250 4x4 and it has a place for a light of some sort on each fender or maybe just above the fenders. They are broken off now. Do any of you know what they are for, or if they are lights or just reflectors. thanks for looking.

i have those mounts on my front fenders too, i have no idea what they are for. i'm thinking extra mirrors since my truck was made for towing, but i'm not sure.

I have a '66 f350 tow truck that has mounts like you are talking about. Theyre for extra turn signals.

If you dig through the archives of the last year, I recall this topic being covered before and someone had some links to photos. Concensus was they are for turn signal lights.
