Help please

Just had a new John Wood 4100r fitted at the dealers and the shift cable on the box is loose and I am stuck at home. Anyone have a photo of how it should mount ? or a detailed description?

Do you mean where the shift cable connects to the transmission?

Yes Has a bracket with a slot to a hole in it

I think you're talking about the DTR then, right? It would be the black box looking thing mounted on the lower (your passenger) side of the tranny?

I say thats it Chris. Me thinks the neutral mark aint lined up correctly. Put her in reverse with ignition on and see if the reverse lights come on Geoff

Ok thanks everyone got it sorted. Turns out the dealer managed to break the retaining clip on the shift cable, so it was not where the gear selector said it was as cable was floating around. 2 zippy ties have fixed it till I get back to the dealer for a new cable.
