Ok I just bought a late build 08kr 350 4+4. 3.73 gears with a sctlive wire and dpf delete. The sct is stock with custom tunes. I had great luck with dpf when I had my 7.3 but who makes a good tune for heavy towing for this truck? So far I love the truck I just want to make sure I do to the right person foe the tining. The guy I bought the truck rom produced every redistributed on everything ever done to the truck both dealer and other wise before I bought it so its as good.as new mechically.
Thanks for the help
Matt
Most on here seem to feel that the best tune for towing heavy is stock, or as near to it as you can get. If you tow anything less tha 10,000 lbs I don't think it makes much difference. That don't even challange this truck. I tow on step 1 (35HP) of an Edge evo. So far so good but I've only done 3 trips. I'm right at the Ford combined vehicle weight (26,000). A lot of guys use Spartan, they have a 210 tow, tune. If I was you I'd try what you have on the lowest HP setting and see how it does.
Ok ill call them first I had great luck with them and my 7.3. What can you tell me about their tow tune for this truck. I didn't see much info on the site
