I've seen a few of your posts in the Ranger forum, so you probably already know that is a good place to post 3.0L questions (Ken00, the forum moderator, knows quite a bit about the 3.0L).
And another source for some 3.0L stuff is the Taurus Car Club of America website, since many of the Taurus/Sables have the same 3.0L "vulcan" motor that the Ranger has.

Thanks rock. I knew about the vulcan motor but never thought about going to a Taurus site. Good tip. I guess the real issue of my question was toward the moderators. Why not a 3.0 forum? Is there a reason? Just curious.

I've got the vulcan in my '97 Taurus so, like you, I'm always looking for any kind of resource(s) that I can find on it.
