Check Engine Light
Hey,
Just the other day my check engine light came on and i don't know how to pull the codes to find out whats wrong with it. So...can somebody please inform me of how to do this and then where do i find out what the codes mean?

p.s. i have the haynes manual but can't find the section in it that tells me how to do this.

I thought one of the auto parts chains had a deal where they would help you pull codes so they could get your parts business. Might want to check it out. Seems AutoZone rings a bell on that.

Here's how, and you'll also find a link to my code list there. All you need is a paperclip & ~5min.
