C6 electronics?

On the side of a c6 in the diesel where the shifter and kickdown lever connect up is a round electric device... What is it?

Mine only has 2 of the 5 wires connected up.

Thanks, Kyle

So it's the neutral start switch... Does it control anything else?

Prevents starting engine in gear, and controls back up lights.

Otherwise, C6 has 0 electronics.

And a mechanical switch can't really be considered electronics so you're right.. the C6 has none whatsoever.

You had me worried from the thread title. I thought you had your truck at a tranny shop and they were feeding you some bullcrap. Glad to hear different.
