C6 Wiring?

C6 Wiring?
I just picked up a donor truck with a C6 behind a 7.3 and noticed that on the shifter linkage there are four wires going to a connector that wrapes around the rod coming out of the tranny (hope that makes sense). I thought the C6 diddnt have any wires, can someone explain this to me?
