X codes and 285s

In all the posts I have read, I am still not sure about one thing. Will X codes and 285s fit into the standard size 7 foot garage door height?

Thanks,

Hunter9905

Would love to know as well... My guess is it will be tight. I have 285's and there is not a lot of room at the top when I back in.

I do not think that will fit. Mine didn't and till doesn't, ha!

That was with factory tires and v/b(x's are a bit taller)

Now I've got more height with 35s and no waay! Ha!

I am waiting on Stewart's advice about doing a "W" spring swap. Several months ago, he said if he had to do it again, he would go with Ws. I also wanted to know about Bs +blocks vs. Modified Bs and then maybe even F for the rear, with or without blocks. I just want to do it right the first time.
