You do not have to swap the steering column if you don't mind the auto shifter sticking out. The cruise won't care - mine worked just fine after the same swap.
You should be able to swap out the pedals by removing the pivot shaft. You really should find a donor truck so you can get the transmission, hydraulic clutch & pedal setup and the driveshaft all in one deal. Try a local pull-a-part or salvage yard and get it all in one shot.
I did this swap with an older vehicle, but isn't your vehicles transmission controlled by the computer? I don't know if this will feak out the computer.
My donor truck wasn't the right length either, so I found an aluminum driveshaft that would except my universal joints and had it shortened and balanced.
All of the sensors should plug in except for the computer.
You should get new plugs for the 'vents' on the shifter case and do yourself a favor and get a Hurst shifter.
Well I got it all in my stock rear drive shaft fits but isn't in the transfercase splines near as far maybe an inch any thoughts? I'm worried about it stripping it out
Flywheel
Clutch
Pedals and assembly (switches)
ECU
ECU-Trans harness
Drivelines (Front the M5 or ZF5) (they are different lengths then the Autos)
Crossmember
Steering Column (optional).
IIRC, you may need the starter for the manual as well, as the flywheel is a different diameter then the flex plate, and tooth count is different.
